Upper Deck Authenticated also sold a separate framed display set with an additional signed card numbered to /406 bearing the 'Ted Williams' inscription. These serial numbers show N/406, not N/2,500 - they are a distinct product.
Williams served as a Navy and Marine Corps pilot in both World War II and the Korean War, missing nearly five full seasons at the peak of his career.
